Change Chamber Development

Change Chamber Development is a Dallas based company,
created specifically for causing change in the urban core.

After a fifteen year tour in the Corporate arena, Zad Roumaya, Founder of Change Chamber Studios, began acquiring real estate in sections of the Downtown Dallas area. He has lived and worked in emerging urban areas in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York over the last 20 years.

After converting an 1950 warehouse into the current Change Chamber Studios and offices in 1998 (located adjacently to buzz), Roumaya had the vision of developing other places with those attributes embodied by his live/work loft restorations.

Zad has successfully founded and operated several small businesses over the last 15 years in real estate, technology, retail, fine art, and architectural design services. His real estate developments are a blend of two of his passions – Art & Architecture.

As a contemporary sculptor, he has been commissioned by various commercial clients within the region, including Hall Financial’s Sculpture Garden in Frisco, Main Station in Duncanville, Pavillion Shopping Center in Park Cities, and Hall Vineyards in Napa Valley.

Roumaya is a 1980 graduate from Stephen F. Austin State University, studying Marketing, Finance, Computer Science and Art.

Will Pinkerton joins Roumaya as Co-Developer for buzz. Will brings notable real estate experience to Change Chamber, with his earliest post-graduate years at Ernst & Young’s real estate audit group, then gaining experience in the commercial banking sector with Bank United and Federal Home Loan Bank as Vice-President of Mortgage Warehouse and Hedge Accounting.

For the last five years, Will has been an active General Contractor, Financial Consultant to other real estate developers, and is an investor within Oak Cliff and the downtown Dallas area. He was responsible for the financial and project management of buzz.

He is a 1990 University of Texas Graduate in Accounting, holds a Masters of Sciences in Real Estate, and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
